3 weeks have flew by… I have no idea how!
and now I’m in my last night in the desert.
it’s been a mega busy period… but a very fulfilling one as we saw our project go live succesfully… having worked on this project for over a year, it is really satisfying seeing the new system up [...]

yesterday, Serafin, a Philippino, came to the office for some training/guidance on how to use our software.
Karel was guiding him and showing him the way while he was writing down notes and instructing us about a real life example.
So we ask: “give us an item to add to this Work Order”
Serafin: “CL-PIPE82″
we try to look [...]

Finally I think we might be able to get an early night
we’re planning to leave the office at 9pm tonight… we’ll see!
need to recover loads of sleep!

Finally the project went live today and overall it has been a success till now…
now off to bed with a great feeling of satisfaction, together with tiredness from all the long work hours and strange sleeping patterns
half of my trip is already over

I’ll be blogging regularly in the coming days hopefully.
We’re in the middle of the go-live process and quite hassled
will update you on the last days… and next days

The second day is already over!!
I settled in quite quickly this time, knowing already a few people from my last trip and knowing the place.
Will catch up with the blog in the coming days
And just to let you know that today at 3pm the temperature was an enjoyable 32 degrees celcius!

My flight is scheduled to leave in about an hour and this will kick off another 3 weeks of work and new experiences…

I’m now back on the Island!!!!!
Landed last night at around 19:30, then went home and ate a huge dinner… Spare ribs in mum’s special yummy sauce and a good bottle of wine…
At 22:30 drove to Veccja to meet my mates… who were missing me… hehe… I was too dw!!!
We had a couple of laughs there [...]
